Coiste na Nog Parade

Knocknagoshel GAA Club would like to thank all who took part in the Coiste na Nog Parade in Castliesland on Sunday. 

Weather conditions were ideal as all the clubs from the Castleisland District paraded in their colours and were joined by Tralee clubs, Austin Stacks and Na Gaeil.

€6,100 Lotto Jackpot for Moynihan’s of the Bridge

The lotto draw for a jackpot of €6,000 was held on Saturday night last in Roche’s Bar, Knocknagoshel. The numbers drawn were 6, 20, 28 and 32. There was no winner of the jackpot. The five lucky dips of €30 each drawn went to: Eddie Barrett, Knocknagoshel; Margaret Relihan, Gneeveguilla;  Lee Thompson, Headleysbridge;  John O’Connell Behenaugh and Noel O’Connell, O’Brien’s Bridge, Co. Clare.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6,100 and will be held in Moynihan’s Bar on Saturday, June 3rd. Tickets are available from The Family Shop, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers. Thank you for your continued support.

Fixtures: Big One For Kieran’s

All roads lead to Connolly Park, Tralee on this Saturday evening for the meeting of St. Kieran’s and Austin Stacks in the first round of the County Senior Football Championship. Throw in is at 6:30pm.

A note of good wishes came in from St. Kieran’s committee with the following message: “Best of luck to our senior team who play Austin Stacks in the first round of the championship this Saturday at 6.30 pm in Connolly Park. We wish the team and management well in this fixture.”

Seniors at Home for Duagh Game

Knocknagoshel seniors will have their next match on Sunday May 28th at 2.30p.m. in Knocknagoshel when they play Duagh in the last round of the North Kerry league.

U-16s Through to Final

Knock/Brosna/Duagh lost out to Listowel Emmets with a score line of 7-09 to 4-12 on Monday, May 1st but are still through to the division 1 final.

U-12s Win High-Scoring Game

Knock/Brosna played a great match against Ballyheigue in Brosna on Sunday last. It was a very high scoring match with Knock/Brosna coming out on top with a final score line of 5-17 to 5-06.

Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps.

The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps will take place in Knocknagoshel from Monday, July 24th until Friday July 28th. We encourage all children in the area to attend this fun filled week of GAA. Each child that attends gets a free GAA Jersey, Training Top and Backpack.
