Kerry Juniors in Munster Final

Well Done to the Kerry Juniors: Well done to the Kerry Junior Football team especially St Kieran’s players: Philip O’Connor, Eamonn Kiely and James Walsh who were victorious over Limerick on Sunday.

The Kerry side will now face Cork in the Munster Final on Tuesday, June 27th at 7.30pm.

Sympathy to Roche Family St. Kieran’s sends their deepest sympathies to the family of the late Jimmy Roche.

Jimmy was actively involved in his own club in Cordal and he was also part of the St. Kieran’s management team when they won the County Championship in 1988. May he rest in peace.

Under 21s V Spa

St. Kieran’s will face Spa in the first round of the Acorn Life County Under 21s Football Championship on Wednesday, June 21st at 7.30pm in Brosna.

Minors take on East Kerry

St. Kieran’s minors will take on East Kerry in the Keane’s SuperValu / County Minor Football Championship on either July 4th or 5th with full details to be announced in the coming weeks.

St. Mary’s Basketball Club AGM
The annual general meeting of St. Mary’s Basketball Club will take place in Castleisland Community Centre on Monday, June 26th at 8pm. All welcome.

Currow GAA Club News

Currow seniors play Kenmare on Sunday at 2pm in Kenmare.

Lotto at Riverside Inn

The lotto draw was held in the Brown Flesk Inn recently for a Jackpot of €3,500. The numbers drawn were 2-7-13-26. There was no overall winner.

Winners of the lucky dip were: Dan Joe Quinlan, Connie Nelligan, Paudie Doolan, Paudie Collins and Mike Foran. Next draw is on Sunday night, June 18th for a jackpot of €3,650 in The Riverside Inn, Currans.

Lotto of €6,200 to be Won in The Mall

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6,200 and will be held in O’Connor’s Bar on Saturday, July 8th.

Tickets are available from The Family Shop; Leahy’s Post Office; the local bars and usual sellers. Thank you for your continued support.
Results and Fixtures
Knocknagoshel Seniors lost to Rathmore B in the county league on Saturday last. They will play against Moyvane on this Saturday evening at 7.30pm in Knocknagoshel.

James Walsh on Kerry junior Team

James Walsh played with Kerry Juniors against Limerick on Sunday last and they will be playing against Cork in the Munster Final on Tuesday, June 27th in Cork. Best of luck from the club.
