The untimely death, at 59 years of age, has occurred of Denis Brosnan, Cahereens West, Castleisland Co. Kerry and formerly of Knockrour West, Scartaglin.

On June 16th, 2017. Peacefully at Kerry University Hospital predeceased by his loving parents Dan and Mary.

Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Maurice, Joan, Mike, John, David, Noreen, Dan and Brendan, his children: Donal, Patrick, Denis and Bernadette; brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

There are people who feel an exile though they may have moved no more that a few miles from their place of birth.

Denis Brosnan lived and worked the very most of his adult life in Castleisland – but Scart is where his heart always was. Signs on, he will be laid to eternal rest in his native soil on Wednesday afternoon.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Daly’s Funeral Home , Scartaglin on this Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30 pm. Followed by removal to the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglin.

Requiem mass on Wednesday at 12.pm followed by burial in Scartaglin cemetery. Family flowers only.
