This coming Sunday August 13th sees our senior men’s team travel to play Templenoe in Round 10 of the county league. Throw in for this game is at 2pm.
U-16 boys a Point Short
The U-16 Boys played Castlegregory on Wednesday evening in the semi final of the county league losing in a tight game on the score of 2-12 to 2-11.
This brings their season to an end for 2017. Players and management wish to thank everyone who supported the team during the season.
Minor Boys Off to The Mall
Desmonds Minor boys team contest the North Kerry League final this coming Monday August 14th when the travel to Knocknagoshel to play Listowel. Throw in for this game is at 7pm.
Last Monday evening in a very enjoyable game they came up short in being defeated by Ballymac on the score 1-14 to 1-12 in the co. league.

Best Wishes to the Castleisland Desmond’s ladies Lorraine Scanlon, Aisling Leaonard, Labhoise Wamsley, Eilish Lynch, Andrea Murphy who will play with the Kerry Senior Ladies team against Armagh in the quarter final of the All Ireland championship on Saturday August 12th in Kilkenny at 6:30pm
Best Wishes to the U-17s
Best wishes to Desmond’s U-17 players: Luka Brosnan and David Shanahan who are involved with the Kerry U-17 team to play Roscommon on Saturday in Ennis at 2pm in the All Ireland semi-final and to Cordal’s Sean O’Connell; Scartaglen’s Eddie Horan and Shay Walsh and Ballymac’s Brian Lonegan who are also involved with the Kerry team.

Congratulations to Desmond’s Adam Donoghue and Scart’s Eddie Horan and Cordal’s Sean O’Connell who were part of the victourious Kerry Minor team that defeated Louth in the quarter final of the minor championship with Kerry last Saturday in Portlaoise.
