 Seniors Gain Points in Listowel

Currow went to Listowel on Friday night and came away with another two points to keep our hopes for promotion to Division 1 alive.  The final score was 1-9 to 1-8.

The first half was a low scoring affair with Currow creating a number of scoring chances but our accuracy was a bit off.

Seamus Brosnan eventually got Currow off the mark and four points from Daniel O’Shea and one from Luke Fitzgerald left the half time score at Listowel 1-4 Currow 0-6.

John Buckley scored a goal early in the second half and further points from Pa McCarthy, Daniel O’ Shea and Shane O’Leary gave us a hard fought win.
