Ray D’Arcy on RTÉ One yesterday and now The Late Late Show on Friday night beckons for Castleisland native and Tralee Credit Union official Derry Fleming and his wife Maureen and son Tadhg.
Derry and his son, Tadhg played starring roles in a bat eviction bid at their home in Ballymacelligott. While Derry’s wife, Maureen played a semi obscured role behind a door as the scene played itself out.
Tadhg, an aspiring film-maker, was batting for his dad with verbal support at a safe distance as he focused a camera on Derry who was armed with nothing more harmful than a towel as he tried to usher the little creature out of the kitchen.
The scene has gone mad on You Tube and it prompted a call yesterday from the Ray D’Arcy Show on Radio One yesterday and an invitation to the Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy on Friday night.
