U-12 Boys in District Final

Good luck to the club’s U-12 Boys team in one the finals of the Castleisland District Blitz this coming Friday evening, September 22nd when they play against Knock/Brosna.

The game takes place in Castleisland along with other finals on the evening. It will be 25 minutes per half.Throw in for this game is at 6:30pm.

Congrats to Adam and the Kerry Minors

Congratulations to Desmond’s Adam Donoghue who played on the Kerry All Ireland winning minor team that defeated Derry in the final in Croke Park last Sunday.

Adam had a fantastic game at wing forward and scored a point from play.

Well done also to Eddie Horan of Scartaglen who came on as a sub and scored a point and to Sean O’Connell of Cordal and Brian Lonergan of Ballymac who were part of the additional panel of players.

Padraig Murphy the Desmond’s former senior men’s team trainer was part of the successful minor team management on the day.

Lotto Draw at The Crown

This Saturday night, September 23rd the club Lotto draw takes place in the Crown Bar, Main Street. The jackpot is at €3,400. Tickets at €2 or three for €5.
