Congrats to Mary and Lorraine on All-Star Double

And to November 2014 and to Corofin: Lorraine Scanlon, daughter of Mary Lane raises the All-Ireland Intermediate Cup after National President, Pat Quille presented it. Congratulations to Desmonds senior ladies player Lorraine Scanlon who won a TG4 All Star Award on Saturday for her performances with Kerry in 2017.

Lorraine follows in the footsteps of her mother Mary who won an All Star award with Kerry in 1987.

Desmond GAA Club AGM

Desmond GAA Club AGM takes place on Friday, December 8th at 8pm in the clubhouse. Nomination forms can be obtained from the secretary.

Nominations and motions will be accepted from paid up members only and must be submitted before 4pm on Wednesday, December 6th.

Club Lotto at The Barrel Tonight

Desmonds club lotto draw takes place this Saturday night, December 2nd at the Half Barrel Bar. The jackpot stands at €3,700.  Tickets at €2 or 3 for €5. The club officers wish to announce that the pitch will be closed until the end of March 2018. This is to help facilitate the work that was done on the pitch last week.

Sympathies to Divane Family

The club members wish to express their deepest sympathies to the Divane family on the passing of Stephen Divane. Stephen played with club’s B team from time to time and also played under age football for the club.
