The latest Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club draw was held in Kearney’s Bar on Saturday night. The numbers drawn were 1, 14, 21, 25.

There was no winner of the jackpot.

Lucky dip prizes: €30 to: Hugh O’Connell, Castleisland;  €20 to Brigid Sugrue, Eamon Breen, Peter Galwey and Mike Donovan, all Castleisland.

The next draw takes place on Saturday, February 14th at a venue to be confirmed and with a Jackpot of €4,000.

Memberships Due Since St. Brigid’s Day

Membership of the club for 2018 is due from February 1st. Lotto membership costs €100 – less than €2 per week and entitles members to:

Free entry to every Lotto draw – 20 per year; free

entry to all league games – county and North Kerry; a discount from Vincent Murphy’s Sports; access to tickets for Kerry championship games. There’s an entry to a draw for an All Ireland Senior Football Final ticket if Kerry qualify.

It is great value and the contributions are vital for the maintenance and running of the club.

Membership forms are available from treasurers: Willie Dom O’Connor, Tullig and Angela Ring O’Donoghue or secretary, Colm Kirwan or from any club officer.

Congrats to Club’s Sports Stars.

Congratulations to club members Kayla O’Connor on her Kerry Sports Star Award for juvenile basketball and Lorraine Scanlon for Gaelic football award and Kayla and Aine Sheehan represented Presentation Castleisland school at the award for basketball.
