Munster Schools Athletics Success for St. Patrick’s Students

There was great success for two students from St. Patrick’s Secondary School, Castleisland this week.

The students competed at the Munster Schools Indoor Athletics Championships which took place in Nenagh.

Gold and Silver Medals

John O’Connor a first year student, won the gold medal in the 60 metre minor boys in a time of 7.85 seconds.

Shane Óg McGaley won the silver medal in the junior boys shot put with a throw of 9.96 metres.

Congrats from Principal

“Well done to both students who both have very promising futures in their chosen disciplines,” said their school Principal Denis  O’Donovan.
