Do you know how to use a defibrillator? Do you know where your nearest one is in and emergency?
The proper use of a defibrillator and effective CPR can significantly increase survival chances of someone who suffers cardiac arrest.
As Many as Possible
Castleisland is lucky to have a substantial number of defibrillators and Castleisland Chamber Alliance would like to train as many people as possible to use them.
“We will be organising AED or Automated External Defibrillator training in the
coming weeks and are looking for volunteers of over 16 years of age to take part,” said the chamber spokesperson, Jeremy Burke.
Need to Confirm Numbers
The training will take approximately four hours and a date and time will be decided once the numbers interested are confirmed.
