The Castleisland/Sliabh Luachra Town Twinning Association is organising this year’s visit to Bannalec in Brittany.

October 2017 marked the tenth anniversary of the signing of the twinning charter between Castleisland/Sliabh Luachra and Bannalec.

A Wonderful Time

A group from Bannalec visited here last year and had a wonderful time. This year a group from Castleisland will join the people of Bannalec in celebrating the tenth year anniversary.

It has always been a most enjoyable visit to our friends in Bannalec and this year’s trip will continue that trend.

Four Nights in Bannalec

The group this year will fly from Dublin to Nantes on Monday, June 25th and stay for four nights in Bannalec with host families.

Those who wish to return home after that will fly from Nantes back to Dublin on Friday, June 29th. As on previous visits to France, some of the group extend their stay and this year they will be going to La Rochelle for a three night stay before flying back to Dublin from there on Monday, July 2nd.

Open to Everyone

Town Twinning is open to everyone with an interest in fostering relationships with people of other European cultures.
