Castleisland Camera Club PRO, Breda McGaley wondered, through the medium of email, if The Maine Valley Post would give the club’s rolling exhibition in the library ‘a shout out again’ this week.
Wonderful Feedback
“We have had wonderful feedback on it so far and we are very pleased with the amount of visitors it has attracted and the positive response from all,” said Breda.
“People are really enjoying browsing through the photos of Castleisland and its surrounds and the old photos have generated so much discussion – from identifying faces and places to telling tales of memories that come to mind while looking at them.
Call In and See
“We have changed all the photos again for the month of August so we would like to invite everyone to call in and have a look again!
“There are new photos of the local areas taken by our members and lots of ‘new old photos’ kindly given by members of the public,” she concluded.
Snap Decision
So, just make a ‘snap decision’ and take up the invitation to drop down to the library and the exhibition is mounted in the foyer on the right hand side as you enter the building.
The club has been in a largely dormant state for most of the wonderful summer and the members are, just now, getting back together.
Then they’ll decide if they’re to hold a charity sale of work like they did on that memorable day the The Market House last November.
