On Wednesday 22nd August, Currow welcomed Scartaglen and in a good sporting contest Currow proved to have the upper hand on their near neighbours and won on a score line of Currow 5-20 to Scartaglen’s 2-11.
Our last game in the competition took place on Sunday 26th August away to Gneeveguilla. Our team (photograph above) proved to be too strong for Gneeveguilla on the day and were comprehensive winners.
Well done to the team and their mentors: Tim Healy, Pat Brosnan and Noel Crowley on winning the East Kerry League.
