Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning – A Reminder

The Castleisland fundraising branch of the Kerry Hospice Foundation will hold its annual coffee morning tomorrow, Thursday September 20th.

The event will be held in Dago Fleming’s premises, beside Fleming Estate agents on Lower Main Street.

Noreen Cremins will host a coffee morning on this date at Shanahan’s Haven Pharmacy at Garvey’s SuperValu.

Eileen O’Shea will hold a coffee morning at her home in Dromroe, Currow on September 28th.

A coffee morning will be held in Lyrecrompane Resource Centre on Sunday September 23rd for 11am-12 noon.

Health and Well-being Afternoon at An Ríocht

A Health and Well-being Afternoon is being organised for An Ríocht AC in Castleisland on Sunday, September 23rd. from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

All the proceeds will go to the Kerry Hospice Palliative Care Services, University Hospital Kerry.

The event will be held at An Ríocht AC in Castleisland There will be a Sound Healing Workshop; What Makes a Healthy Family; Zumba Class; Meditation for Adults and Children; Pilates Class; What is Stress and how to manage it; Walk a Mile for Palliative Care. For children there is Face Painting; Bouncy Castle; Outdoor Activities include a Teddy Bears’ Picnic at 1pm. The day will also featire: Reflexology; Massage; Kinesiology, Acupuncture; Life Coaching, Zumba; Physiotherapy; Homeopathy; Pilates; First Aid; Skincare; Sound Healing; Natural Cosmetics and more. Entry Fee: Adults €5 and children go free.

Macra Recruitment Night at Tom’s

Kerry Macra Na Feirme, in conjunction with the Kileentierna branch, will hold a Recruitment Night at Tom McCarthy’s Bar, Main Street, Castleisland on Friday night, September 28th at 8pm.

Activities on the night will include: darts, pool and karaoke and lots more.

The Killeentierna Macra Na Feirme branch draws its membership from all the neighbouring parishes and beyond and all will be welcome.

Macra is not just for Farmers – It’s for Everyone.
