The language teachers at Castleisland Community College were celebrating the outstanding Junior Cert oral Irish and oral French results.

The Irish department has, for many years, achieved the fantastic result of 90% of honours students receiving an A in the oral exam.

Great Results

Every year the result of 99% has even been achieved by one if not two students.

This year Gemma Burke received the perfect score of 100%

The French department was also celebrating with an incredible six students receiving the perfect score of 100% in their Junior Cert oral.

Oral Language Exams

The students were: Rachel O’Connell, Kyle O’Connor, Gabrielle Voveryte, Katelyn Brennan, Laura Twomey and Siobhán O’Donoghue.

“The benefits of doing these optional oral language exams cannot be underestimated as it greatly assists students in preparation for the Leaving Cert oral exam for both French and Irish.

“Comhghairdeachas agus Félicitations,” said a proud and multi lingual teacher, Ms. Killington.
