The Castleisland AFC Player of the Week is ‘keeper, Steven Bartlett who turned in a great display for the senior team against Fenit Samphires in the FAI Cup tie including a save in the penalty shoot-out.

AI Junior Cup second Round. Castleisland AFC 1-1 Fenit Samphires. Aidan O’Callaghan goal scorer. Castleisland won 5-4 on penalties.

Leader Grant for New Pitch

Castleisland AFC members are delighted to announce that the club has received a €91,765.87 grant from the Leader programme to help towards the cost of the floodlights and fencing for our new artificial turf playing pitch. A big thank you to NEWKD, Kerry Local Action Group and Leader.

Best of Luck in FAI CUP

Best of luck to Castleisland AFC U-13 team who travel to Six Mile Bridge in Clare to take on Bridge United in the FAI cup and best wishes to the Girls u14 team who are playing their first game of the season at home to Inter Kenmare at 2pm this Saturday
