The just appointed manager and committee/conference would sincerely like to thank all their loyal customers and everyone who supported the recent Fashion Show at the Church Street ‘Vincent’s’ shop.

Just Appointed

“We would like to thank our dedicated CE workers, our wonderful volunteers including Ann Broderick who is involved for many years,” said Grace O’Connor – the just appointed manager.

“We are very grateful to the caretakers, caterers, Noel, Donie and Peter and our DJ Dylan Broderick – thanks to Marie Nolan-Lucey for sourcing; the MC Sheila Heery, Liz Galwey and all the lovely models and TY foreign students who gave up their time to be involved to make the Event a success!

Red Carpet on Loan

“We would also like to thank River Island Hotel for the loan of the Red Carpet. All the local businesses for kindly supplying raffle prizes – they were so generous.

“Last but not least, I wanted the event to be a Fashion Show with a difference so I came up with an idea of having a harpist play as the people arrived.

“So, my dear friend Mairead O’Connell suggested Eibhlis Brosnan from Currow who played her harp as the patrons arrived.

A Real Treat

“At the interval we were so happy to have Alison McGaley sing from her soon to be launched CD.

“This was a real treat while the raffle tickets were being sold. Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening.

“Sales were high with the clothes moving nicely off the rails afterwards. There was great team effort involved in organising and running the event and I’m so grateful to everyone involved! We were so lucky and every chair was filled on the night – a Full House indeed,” said Ms. O’Connor.
