Unemployed ? ‘Find your 30’ with New An Ríocht AC Initiative

A new initiative at An Riocht Athletic Club aims to engage with people who are unemployed and who would like to get into a fitness regime and a healthy lifestyle.
Find Your 30
“We’re delighted to launch ‘Find your 30’ a new initiative for people who are unemployed and it’s about encouraging people to lead a healthy lifestyle,” said An Ríocht AC manager, Hazel Byrne.

“We’re making our track available from 10am-2pm Monday to Friday at a reduced rate of only €2
per person.

Moderate Intensity Exercise

“The initiative aims to encourage people to get active for 30 minutes per day of moderate intensity exercise five days per week as recommended by the World Health Organisation guidelines.
“We hope this initiative will benefit people within the community and it is a well known fact that physical activity has numerous health benefits including strengthening of the heart and improved lung function along with reducing your risk of coronary heart disease and heart attack,” said Ms. Byrne.
Proof of Status
To avail of this offer simply drop into the An Riocht Health and Leisure Club during the applicable times and present proof of unemployment status.
