Huskies Loose in the Town Park

At a meeting of Abbeyfeale Town Park Committee on Monday night last, it was reported that two husky dogs had been in the park on Sunday and had attacked park users and their dogs.

On investigation it was discovered that the dogs in question had knocked down a barrier and had broken into the park from an adjoining property.

On contacting the owner of the property, the committee received assurances that the dogs have now been removed from the property and will not be returning.

We wish to advise the public that should there be a recurrence of such an incident or any other infringement of their enjoyment of Abbeyfeale Town Park please contact the park office on 087 928 2322.

We want all our patrons to enjoy free and relaxed use of the park at all times.
