The death has occurred of Dan Riordan, 54 St. Stephen’s Park, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Suddenly, on December 20th 2018.

Beloved father of the late Danny. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Nora, his loving family Mag, Hannah, Noreen, Buddy, Michael, Mary, Eileen, John, Stephen and Catherine, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren, brother John (The Major), sister-in-law, Phyllis, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Someone drew my attention to a heartfelt tribute paid to the late Dan Riordan by his grand-daughter, Dannielle O’Neill.

In a matter of a couple of sentences she managed to portray a loving and supporting grandfather / grand-daughter relationship and it, probably, sums him up far better than anyone else could:

“My heart is shattered, got the worst news I could ever hear today. Didn’t even get to say goodbye. Nobody can or ever will replace you, you were one of a kind, such a lucky girl to have you as a grandfather.
The nicest man you could ever meet, My absolute rock, My whole world, The bestest friend I could ever ask for all gone. I love you forever and always Pops.
R.I.P My Man❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
