Sunday Afternoon Choral Extravaganza for Castleisland

Members of the Bois Goetre-Hen Male Choir who will be joined by two local choirs at the Church of Saints Stephen and John on Sunday evening from 4pm.
Members of the Presentation Castleisland Choir who will feature in Sunday evening’s choral concert at the Church of Saints Stephen and John from 4pm.

This coming Sunday, May 26th. the Castleisland fundraising branch of the Kerry Hospice Foundation, in association with the Con Houlihan weekend, will host the Bois Goetre-Hen Male Choir.

They will be joined by the choir from Presentation Secondary School, Castleisland under the direction of their music teacher Ailish Walsh and also by the Castleisland Parish Choir.

Commencing at 4pm

The recital will take place in the Church of Saints Stephen & John Castleisland and will commence at 4pm.

Tickets for the event are priced at €10 and are available from members of Castleisland hospice branch.

Funds for Running Costs

All funds raised will remain in Kerry and go towards the running costs of the in-patient palliative care unit at University Hospital Kerry.

Kerry Hospice Foundation has committed to raise €400,000 annually for the first five years.

This is in addition to €100,000 provided by Kerry Hospice towards home-care services.
