Public Demand Drives Bingo Back to The Mart Yard

Back again this year and due to popular demand is the Drive-in-Bingo which is due to be held in the yard of the Castleisland Co-Op Mart in the course of the summer and on a date to be decided.

Through Rain and Shine

Organised by the Castleisland Races Committee and first run in 2011, the event has been held through rain and shine while the players were either snug in their  cars or in the shelter of the mart’s outbuildings with others in gazebos – and all checking away mad.

Applications Invited for Gate

A total prize-fund of €3,000 was available to punter at last year’s event.

Charities or community groups which would like to be considered among the beneficiaries of the proceeds of this always popular event are advised to apply in writing only to: Kay Reidy, Secretary Castleisland Races Committee, Dulague, Castleisland, Co. Kerry before July 13th.

Please state the reasons why your group or organisation should be considered among the recipients of the funds.
