U-16s Draw with An Ghaeltacht

On Wednesday July 17th our U-16 team played host to An Ghaeltacht in the County League. In a very good sporting game which could have gone either way the match ended in a draw.

Final score was Currow 1-17 to An Ghaeltacht’s 4-8. Next game will place on Wednesday 31st July away to Beaufort with throw in at 7pm.

U-14s in District League

Currow U-14 team played Gneeveguilla on Monday 22nd July in the final round of the East Kerry League.

The away side proved to be too strong for our young team on the night and went on to win the game comprehensively.

Currow will now contest the Castleisland District League & East Kerry Championship in the coming weeks.

U-12s in Action on Sunday

Well done to our U-12 team who participated in the Munster GAA Go Games Blitz which was held in Fitzgerald Stadium on Wednesday 17th July.

The team played three games on the day and after their games they were given a tour of the stadium by Kerry footballer Michéal Burns.

The team will be in action again this coming Sunday 28th July when they will play Fossa away in the East Kerry League. Throw in for this match will be at 12 noon.

U-6s ,U-8s and U-10s Training

Training resumes on Saturdays at 10am in Currow.

No Gum Shield – No Game

Please note that for all juvenile games and training sessions all players must have gums shields. Players will not be not covered under the GAA player injury scheme if they don’t comply with the mouth guard rule.
