Castleisland Desmonds Ladies GAA Club members are organising a ‘Cash for Clothes Collection’ on this Saturday, August 24th from 10am to 12noon.
Club PRO, Gerard ‘Gerdie’ Murphy said that the ‘Items Wanted’ list includes: clothing, paired shoes, belts, handbags, bed linen, towels and curtains.
Bags of clothes can be dropped to the clubhouse on Saturday morning between the times above.
To clarify: the clothes brought by members of the public will be donations to the club.
The club will then convert your donations to cash to help with its day-to-day running.
