Congrats to Cork Minor Footballer with Knocknagoshel Connections​

Knocknagoshel GAA Club would like to congratulate Michael O’Neill who won an All Ireland Minor medal with Cork on All-Ireland football final Sunday on September 1st.

Michael is a grandson of Eddie Walsh who won five All Ireland medals with Kerry.

Congratulations also to Shane Browne who was on the Kerry North U-14 Development Squad which defeated Galway recently.

€8,900 Lotto Draw at O’Connor’s Bar

The lotto draw for a jackpot of €8,800 was held in Moynihan’s Bar on Saturday night last.

The numbers drawn were 5,15,17 and 19. There was no winner of the jackpot.

The five lucky dips of €30 each were won by: Mary Curtin, Mountcollins; Nelius Lenihan, Boula; Eamon Sheehy, Broughane; Catherine Moynihan, Knocknagoshel and Norma Murphy, Meenleitrim.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €8,900 and will be held in O’Connor’s Bar on Saturday, October 5th .

Tickets are available from: Kieran’s XL; SuperValu, Abbeyfeale; the local bars and usual sellers.

Fixtures and Result

Knocknagoshel defeated Beale 2-8 to 1-10 in the quarter final of the Barrett Cup. Knocknagoshel will play Annascaul in the semi final on September 13th. ​

Knocknagoshel has been drawn at home to Ballydonoghue in the first round of the North Kerry Championship.

First round games are due to commence on Sunday, October 6th. 2019.​

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA  Club is holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains & towels. Please note that duvets are not accepted.
