Glórach Celebrates Micheal Hartnett
Although born in Newcastlewest, the late, great poet Michael Hartnett had an almost spiritual link with the area west of Barnagh and was no stranger to the town of Abbeyfeale.
The Glórach Theatre look forward to celebrating his memory by screening the Pat Collins film Muince Dreoilín at 10.30 am on Monday, September 30.
Renowned author and poet Gabriel Fitzmaurice, who was a close friend of Hartnett, will be present for a question and answer session afterwards.
This event will be held as part of Éigse Micheal Hartnett, admission is free and for any enquiries please ring 087 13 83 940.
