The North Kerry Championship game between Knocknagoshel and Ballydonoghue has been postponed to a later date.​

Coiste na nÓg

Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh defeated St. Senans 3-12 to 2-8 in the U-16 North Kerry Championship semi final. The date and venue for the final is to be confirmed. ​

​Knocknagoshel/Brosna will play Listowel in the Tommy Madden U-13 competition in Knocknagoshel on Sunday 13th October.​

Congratulations to Pádraig and Claire

Congratulations to Knocknagoshel player Pádraig Reidy and Claire Philpott who got married in Cork last weekend.​

St. Kieran’s V Kilcummin

St. Kieran’s will play Kilcummin in Round 3 of the County Championship next weekend. Best of luck to all involved.​

Sympathy to Browne and Nagle Families

It was with deep regret and sadness that we learned of the untimely death of Kerrie Browne.

To Kerri’s family and partner Eamon we express our deepest sympathy.

We would also like to express our sympathy to Richard and Noreen Murphy, Meenleitrim, on the death of Noreen’s mother, Nora Nagle. May they Rest in Peace.​

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA Club is holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club.

Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains & towels. Please note that duvets are not accepted.

Lotto Jackpot Reaches €9,000 in The Mall

The lotto draw for a jackpot of €8,900 was held in O’Connors Bar on Saturday night.

The numbers drawn were 3,6,8 and 15. There was no winner of the jackpot.

The five lucky dips of €30 each were won by: Ann Cotter, Toureenard; Mary Scanlon, Headley’s Bridge; Rachel O’Connor, Knocknagoshel; Theresa Mangan, Abbeyfeale and Arthur Cremins, Castleisland.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €9,000 and will be held in Walsh’s Bar on Saturday, November 2nd.
