Castleisland Rugby Club has issued a statement in which the club advises its supporters that the weekly Split the Bucket Draw has been paused for now.

“Due to the ongoing health crisis and, in the interest of the health of our supporters and members, we have decided to pause our Split the Bucket Draw,” said club PRO, Noirín Uí Chathasaigh.
“All current and future entries will be included in the first draw when we start up again.
“We will present Saturday night’s winner, Stephen McCarthy with his cheque during the week.

Thank You for Your Support
“We would like to thank everyone for their support up to this point and we look forward to making many more ‘thousandaires’ in the future.
“The committee of Castleisland Rugby Club hope that all our supporters, members and their families stay safe in these worrying times,” said Noirín in conclusion.

Though the pubs are closed, the Split the Bucket Draw buckets are still available in shops through this and neighbouring parishes.
