Kerry College and Radio Kerry Recruiting for Hands-on Media Training

Always dreamed of working in radio or the media?  Or are you a media graduate who wants hands on experience​?

Would you like the opportunity to train in an existing media organisation while you learn​?

If you have a passion for news, sports, research and production, presenting music shows, sound engineering, podcasting or mobile journalism then you may be interested in two courses which are currently recruiting.

Introduction to Radio Broadcasting

Radio Kerry and Kerry College will be running an eight week Introduction to Radio Broadcasting course starting on September 7th in Tralee.  

Places for this course are filled on a first come, first served basis and are limited to 18 only.

This course with industry practitioners gives you an introduction to the key practical skills and experience needed to work in the radio and media sector.

Digital Journalism and Radio Broadcasting

You will have access to two state of the art training centres and digital broadcasting studios both in the Kerry College  Monavalley Campus and in Radio Kerry.

Radio Kerry and Kerry College are also recruiting for a longer 52 week Digital Journalism and Radio Broadcasting course.

The course which will be based in Radio Kerry and the Kerry College Monavalley Campus in Tralee and is open to applicants from throughout the country.

Internship in a Media Organization

The award winning course is led by industry practitioners, and will also include the opportunity to network with guest lecturers from media organisations.

It commences in November 2020.

This course includes a two month internship in a media organization.

No Fees Apply

Applicants can apply for the Introduction to Radio Broadcasting Course, which can lead on to the longer 52 week course, or apply directly for the Digital Journalism and Radio Broadcasting Course.
