Kerry County Council met with representatives of Bird’s Euroshow Funfair today.
Having considered the current public health advice and the current information available regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the interests of public health, it was agreed that Birds would not operate a funfair in Killarney town this year.
Mutual Agreement on Health Grounds
The council and Bird’s both acknowledged a long-standing and positive relationship over many years but agreed that it was in the best interests of public health not to host the funfair in Killarney in 2020.
