An Ríocht Athletic Club has organised a fundraiser as its way of saying a big thank you to the community in Castleisland for its continuous support of club and events over the years.

Walk 5K Donate €5

“During the level five lock-down we are encouraging people to get out, get active and walk/run five kilometres and to donate €5 – or whatever you can – to this GoFundMe page,” said club spokesperson, Catherine O’Sullivan.

Five Local Charities

The club is aiming to raise €5,000 and to split it between five local charities and the chosen recipients are: Glebe Lodge Residential Home; Castleisland Day Care Centre; KDYS Castleisland; Oilean Beo, St. John of Gods and Kerry Hospice Foundation Castleisland branch.
