Moloney’s Cake Shop Back to Six Day Weeks Until Christmas Eve

Moloney’s Cake Shop is reverting to a six-day-week from December 2nd to Christmas Eve as it prepares for its 90th Christmas of trading and community service at 102 Upper Main Street, Castleisland. Photograph: John Reidy

All at Moloney’s Cake Shop wish to inform their customers and friends that they’ll be opened from Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5pm from December 2nd until Christmas Eve.

With a tradition of baking, grocery and general community service going back over 90 years, the Castleisland business is now in its fourth generation at 102 Upper Main Street.

Glad to Take Orders

“We will be glad to take orders for our famous iced and uniced rich fruit cakes, mince pies, plum puddings and many other delicious cakes,” said Margaret Moloney.

“We will be opening again after Christmas on December 30th, 31st and January 2nd.

Appreciation of Support

“We will then be going back to the four day week from Wednesday to Saturday from January 2021,” Margaret continued.

“We’d like to thank our loyal customers and friends for their ongoing support and we wish you all a wonderful and safe Christmas and Happy New Year. God Bless from all at Moloney’s Cake Shop.”
