The Late Eileen Flynn, nee Edwards, Lisheenbawn, Farranfore, Co. Kerry and formerly of Keel, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry.

The death has occurred of Eileen Flynn (nee Edwards) Lisheenbawn, Farranfore, Co. Kerry and formerly of Keel, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry.

Peacefully on December 29th 2020 surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved wife of the late Con ‘Joe’ Flynn. Devoted mother to Philomena, Eileen, Martina, Noreen, John, Jerry and Ann. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law: Robert, Joe and Keith, daughters-in-law Catheriona and Eileen, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Mike in Keel, Lixnaw; sister-in-law Winnie, nieces, nephews, all extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased by her son-in-law Gary McGovern in August 2020; parents John and Molly, brother John and sisters: Sheila, Mary, Bridie, Tina and Lily. May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

A Private Family Funeral 

A private family Funeral will take place for Eileen with her Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Currow. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Killeentierna Currow. The Mass will be livestreamed on the Killeentierna Church Facebook Page – see the link below.

Please Note: The funeral cortège will depart her residence at 10:30am on Friday morning en route to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Currow and will depart the church at 12noon approx en route to the cemetery.
