Kerry County Council Statement on New Level 5 Covid-19 Restrictions

It’s not quite what the photograph was taken for but it’s apt in the wake of last night’s Government announcement of the return to Level 5 Lock-down restrictions and Kerry County Council’s statement on closures of services this morning.

The Government has announced the imposition of Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions – the highest level of restrictions – on Wednesday, 30 December in the context of increased concern about the spread of the coronavirus.

Kerry County Council is encouraging members of the public to adhere closely to the Level 5 restrictions.

Stay at Home

In line with Government advice, people are reminded to stay at home except for essential purposes.

In the interests of public health and having regard to the new Level 5 restrictions, Kerry County Council is asking customers and members of the public to avail of Council services by phone and email.

Motor tax services are being provided on www.motortax.ie and by post only with prompt turnaround times in place.
