Cruinniú na nÓg – Youth to Have a Say in National Creativity Day

Cruinniú Na nÓg and its local agents at Kerry County Council’s Arts Office are looking for feedback from children and young people about what they would like see included in this year’s programme on Saturday June 12th.

Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people.

It is happening on Saturday June 12th. and in advance of the day, Kerry County Council’s Arts Office is looking for feedback from children and young people themselves about what they would like see included in this year’s programme.

“We want to hear from children and young people themselves,” says Kate Kennelly, Arts Officer. “This is their day for creativity – it’s a chance for them to try out new things, or learn more about art forms they are already interested in.”

Online Event for 2021

As with last year, Cruinniú will be an online event for 2021.

“Safety comes first,” says Kate Kennelly, “but there has been a lot of learning around online events in the last year and I am sure it will be a great day for children and young people.
