The Late Elizabeth O’Connor, nee Nolan, Lower Dromulton, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth O’Connor, nee Nolan, Lower Dromulton, Castleisland, Co. Kerry. Aged 57.

Liz passed away peacefully on February 25th 2021 after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry. Beloved wife of Tommy and devoted mother to Jamie and fond mother-in-law to his wife Molly (U.S.A.).

Loving daughter of Johnny and Margaret Nolan, St. Stephen’s Park, Castleisland and much loved sister of Donal, John, Margaret, Brendan, Maria and Paudie.

Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, father-in-law Jim O’Connor, Cragg, Castleisland and brothers-in-law John and Dan, sisters-in-law Geraldine, Jane, Noreen, Eileen and Siobhán, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends especially her work colleagues at Garvey’s SuperValu, Castleisland.

Predececeased by her brother Denis Nolan and mother-in-law Joan O’Connor.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Private Family Funeral

A private family funeral will take place for Elizabeth with her Requiem Mass on Saturday at 1.30pm in Castleisland Parish Church.

Elizabeth’s Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv

Private cremation will follow at the Shannon Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to the Kerry Hospice.

Funeral Cortége Route

Please Note: The funeral cortége will depart Elizabeth’s residence at 1pm on Saturday and travel down the Scartaglen Road on route to the Church of St. Stephen and John, Castleisland and will depart the church at 2.15pm approx and travel up along the Main Street and up College Road stopping briefly at Cragg before departing for Shannon.

Please ensure HSE Social Distancing guidelines are adhered to at all times.
