The Late Rita Heffernan, nee Corkery, Caher, Rathanny, Ballymacelligott, Tralee, Co. Kerry and late of Ashill, Ballymacelligott.

The death has occurred of Rita Heffernan, nee Corkery, Caher, Rathanny, Ballymacelligott, Tralee Co. Kerry and late of Ashill Ballymacelligott.

Peacefully, on March 27th 2021, in the excellent care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry.

Beloved wife of the late Pat.

Sadly missed by her loving family, Fiona Kelliher, Maynooth; Marie Egan, Ferbane; Anne Tuckfield, Sydney; Louise Heffernan, Caher; Yvonne Allen, England; Paudie Heffernan, Caher and Clare Fitzgibbon, New Zealand; sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her adored eleven grandchildren: Lauren, Killian, Andrew, Ciara, Eoin, Liam, Kaila, Padraic, Emily, Luke and Conor; brother Pa Corkery, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Private Family Funeral

A private family funeral will take place for Rita with her Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St. Brendan’s Church, Clogher, Ballymacelligott.

Funeral Cortège Route

Please Note: Rita’s funeral cortège will depart her residence in Caher on Tuesday morning at 10.30 am and travel to Clogher Church and will depart the church at 11.45 approximately and travel to the cemetery.

Please ensure HSE social distancing guidelines are adhered to at all times.
