Ballymac Community Alert for Overnight Theft of Cattle Box

An appeal from Cllr. Fionnán Fitzgerald on behalf of Ballymacelligott Community Alert for people in the broad locality to keep an eye out for an 8′ X 5′ ‘Cow Box.’

The box, with a swinging loading door, was stolen from a farmyard in the Ballydwyer area sometime last night.

Its registration number is: 05 C 1799.

Cllr. Fitzgerald is a constant advocate of the Community Alert system and he has been involved in and shared his experiences of the day to day running of the Ballymac system with many other communities.

He is adamant that the community in Castleisland should have a similar system here so that people could communicate instantly any suspicious activity which may come to their attention.

In the meantime, please keep an eye out for the stolen cow box. If anyone has a more detailed description of the stolen item or a photograph of one like it please do add it in the comment box.
