Walking Back to Happiness

Brosna GAA Club would like to thank Kerry County Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development for their generous funding of €1,000 from the Covid 19 Emergency Fund Round 2.

The funds were used to resurface our walking track at the pitch. On behalf of the parish, we are delighted to express our thanks for this kind contribution to our community’s well being.

Football Round Up

Our U-15 team that’s linked with Knocknagoshel has reached the semi final of the county league.

Well done to the players and management for the recent impressive performance in the quarter finals.

The details of the next game and venue will be posted on Brosna GAA Club Facebook page. The U-12 girls team Brosna/Knock has reached the division five final against Austin Stacks.

What a brilliant achievement for this wonderful group of girls in their first season.

Ready For A Close Up

You will have heard the buzz that Brosna is to be used as a location for a forthcoming movie.

The film, Joyride, starring the Oscar winner Olivia Coleman is using our scenic village as a backdrop for filming on July 19th. The village is looking wonderful at present so it will certainly look its best on camera.

Thanks to all the citizens who keep their properties and gardens so exquisitely.
