Well-Known Entertainer and Family Grieving for Tragic Thomas

The Late Thomas Healy and his grieving dad, Ger – The Singing Jarvey.

His many followers and friends in Castleisland and the surrounding parishes will be sending their condolences to the parents, Ger and Julie Healy and siblings of young Thomas Healy who died in that widely publicised accident in Killarney on Wednesday.

Ger Healy, better known as The Singing Jarvey is one of the the most popular entertainers on the pub and party circuits in this area.

He was the regular act when the fundraising Rose of Cons competition was in full swing a few years ago and there’s hardly a pub or a party he didn’t play in or attend in these parts for many years.

Known for his wide ranging repertoire and obliging and jolly nature Ger is also a regular visitor to Castleisland during horse fair days.

May God be good to young Thomas and to those grieving under the sudden burden of heart-break which only the loss of such a young life brings.
