James Maher accepting his Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket winnings of €905 from Colum Nolan Club Welfare officer. James accepted his winnings as Patrick Horan’s name was drawn from the drum and his winnings were €925 at Tom McCarthy’s Bar on Saturday evening.

For the first time since Covid-19 struck here in March 2020 the winners’ share of the Castleisland Rugby Club’s Split the Bucket draw is threatening the €1,000 line again.

In the course of the lock-down the club offered to make ‘thousandaires’ of their draw supporters and it proved a great success.

Now, with normality beginning to re-dawn, the supporters’ share is edging its way back up the ladder.

You’ll see in the results below that James Maher won €905 in the draw on July 3rd and in the most recent draw on Saturday, Patrick Horan edged it onwards to the €915 mark.

Results from Tom’s

This week’s winner of the Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket draw held at Tom McCarthy’s Bar on Saturday, July 10th was Patrick Horan, Castleisland.
