There have been so many good news stories around our wonderful new U-12 ladies team.
Firstly, a kind female sponsor as come forward to purchase their new jerseys. All to be revealed along with the new jerseys shortly.
On top of all of this, another female power house, Mary Ann Downes, has organised a golf classic fundraiser which will take place on 7 August 7th at the Maine Valley Golf Club in Killorglin.
Raising Vital Funds
The day of golf will raise vital funds for the team’s future. With such big name sponsors as: FBD Insurance, GMIB Insurance Company, Tommy Micks Pub, Ahern’s Garage Castleisland and Feale Oil, Mary Ann has found generous donors and sponsors of tee boxes to make the event a huge success.

The 32 x four ball teams are all booked in but if you wish to buy raffle tickets for some stunning prizes or make a donation, please contact Mary Ann on 087 2458496.
It’s heartening to see such a wave of positivity and support by Brosna women, for Brosna women. It reminds me of the great feminist motto: Individually we are one Drop, Together we are an Ocean.
