Margaret Horan wins €1,028 as Castleisland RFC Prepares for January 1st €2,000 Roll-over

The latest winner of the Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket draw is Margaret Horan, Carhue, Castleisland.

Margaret won €1,028 from the envelope she filled, addressed and posted in Daly’s Fish Shop here in Castleisland.

Last week’s winnner, Michelle Burke sent dad Michael to the Shoemaker Bar on Saturday night to collect her second time winnings where host, Steve Curtin presented him with Michelle’s cheque for €1,038.

The next draw is on in Hughes Bar in Cordal Cordal on the coming Saturday night, December 18th.

Roll-Over Draw of €2,000 on January 1st

As the following Saturday is Christmas Day there won’t be a draw ….But the club is planning a big, guaranteed New Year’s  €2,000 Roll-Over Draw at Kearney’s Bar on January 1st.

Envelopes and buckets are all over the place in Castleisland and surrounding villages and there is an increasing level of on-line interest now for the draw.
