Deputy Danny Healy Rae Welcomes Desmonds Avenue Works Announcement

Following my constant representations I have been informed that works will begin in early January 2022 to replace problematic water mains in the Desmonds Avenue Estate, Castleisland,” said Deputy Danny Healy Rae as he welcomed the announcement that work is to commence there soon. 

Residents and businesses in the area have suffered long enough I am very glad that works will be carried out soon.

Contractors Ward & Burke Ltd, in partnership with Kerry Co Council will be carrying out the works on behalf of Irish Water.

The benefits of the works will include reliable water supply, reduced leaks, improved water quality and improved operation and maintenance, said Deputy Danny.
