The greatly anticipated Castleisland Rugby Club’s Split the Bucket prize of €2,000 went across the border to Abbyfeale.
The lucky winner of the ‘New Year Cracker Draw’ was Liam McEnery. Liam decorated his envelope with coin and information in Tom McCarthy’s Bar. The next next draw will be held outside Moloney’s Bakery on Saturday evening.
New Year Greetings
Castleisland RFC sends Happy New Year greetings to all its friends, members and supporters and to the retailers, bars, resturants and coffee shops for their help with thew weekly draw.
They issued a special greeting to their recurring draw winner the lucky Mary O’Connell who received her fourth Split the Bucket cheque, this one for €1,048, from Colum Nolan at Saturday night’s draw in Kearney’s Bar.

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in the venues above throughout this and neighbouring parishes.
You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
