The death has occurred of Kay ‘Kathleen’ Boylan née McAuliffe of Coonagh, Limerick and formerly Colbert St., Listowel, Co. Kerry, died peacefully in Milford Hospice on 27th January 2022.

Sadly missed by her husband Joe, daughter Marie, sisters Maura and Bernie, brother-in-law Eamonn, nephews Eamonn, Tom and Pádraig, extended family and many friends.

Regular Visitor to Castleisland

Kay was a regular visitor for years to Castleisland for the annual Patrick O’Keeffe Traditional Music Festival.

She made many new friends here through her infectious good humour and sense of fun and sincere appreciation and understanding of the cultural contents of events like this.

Teaching was clearly her true vocation and the condolence section of her death notice serves as a testimonial from parents and past pupils to the care and the kindness she showed them as they embarked on their important journey through early life. May God be good to her.
