Birthday Wishes to a Lovely Lady

A very special milestone birthday was reached by Gabe O’Sullivan this week.

We don’t need to get into the specific numbers here but what we will say is a very special Happy Birthday to a popular lady who has a kind and caring word for everyone she meets.

She has been a friendly face at the post office for many years as well as being a Brosna GAA super fan, along with her best friend, Margaret.

Gabe, may your birthday year be filled with all good things. You are a treasure!

Con Curtin Music Festival is Back on the Calendar

Wonderful to see that the ever enjoyable Con Curtin Festival is back in the calendar for 24th to 26th June 2022.

If you are interested in helping your community, love music, and have a few free hours in the days leading up to the Con Curtin Festival or over the weekend, then the Festival Committee would love to hear from you!

They can guarantee you some great company, a few laughs, a coffee or a pint for your effort and some great music.

If this is something you’d be interested in, please contact any of our committee members through Con Curtin Facebook page or reach out to Maria Sheehan or Greta Curtin our joint festival chairpersons.

Buckle Up for GAA Activity

Buckle up, Brosna fans. Brosna Seniors have two outings this week.

Thursday, March 3rd. at 8pm in Mountcollins the deferred game against Desmonds will be played. Saturday, March 5th at 2pm, we meet Beale in Ballybunion. Be there to support our crew. It’s going to be full on.

Nothing Minor About This Team

The KnockBrosna Minors had an encounter with Skellig / Valentia on Saturday last.

The visitors from South Kerry were the stronger team on the day but the refreshed Knock/Brosna squad that sees our Brosna number increase significantly, shows much promise.

We will watch the County League unfold with much interest.
