Dawn Mass is Part of Castleisland Parish Easter Ceremonies

Castleisland Parish Office has sent details of the Holy Week Ceremonies which will start on Holy Thursday, April 14th. 2022 at Castleisland Parish Church at 8pm.

Mass of the Last Supper. As a parish we commemorate the Last Supper at which Jesus celebrated the First Mass and institution of the Eucharist. The ceremony will include a Blessing of Eucharistic Ministers.

Solemn Passion of Good Friday

Solemn Passion of Good Friday, April 15th. 2022 at Castleisland Parish Church at 3pm.

We commemorate the time that Jesus died for us.

The Good Friday liturgy: the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Cross, and the Holy Communion. Stations of the Cross by candlelight – a time for private prayer on your own until 12midnight in Castleisland Parish Church.

Easter Saturday night Vigil

Easter Saturday night Vigil, April 16th at 8pm. Mass and ceremonies for the Vigil of Easter in Castleisland Parish Church only.

First Easter Sunday Dawn Mass

If you need to sit down at the Dawn Mass you’re advised and invited to bring your own chair with you.

Easter Sunday Mass Times: 9am in Cordal Church; 10.15am Scartaglen Church and at 11.30am Castleisland Church.
