And Now for Something Completely Different: Information Sought on Stolen Car

Images of the car stolen from a house in Pound Road, Castleisland supplied by the owner, Castleisland native, Michael Doody in London.

“I’m living over in London and went back to Castleisland a couple of weeks ago to see my mother and discovered the car in the photographs gone no one knows anything about it,” said Michael Doody in an Email from the UK in an effort to trace a car which went missing from a house in Castleisland.

The car itself is a 1985 Toyota Corolla 1.3 GL Automatic, Metallic Green with only 47.000 miles on the clock.

It is also the last know example of its model in Ireland and the UK.

“My car was stolen from Lynch’s farmhouse on Pound Road and it had been there since the start of the pandemic as I was unable to have it transported back to London due to the travel restrictions.
